Safety on a live video service is part product and part behaviour. This page covers the controls that exist, what we act on, and where our responsibility ends and your judgement starts.

Adults Only, 18+

Use of this service is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

Any report involving a minor is escalated rather than triaged, and is referred to the appropriate authorities where required. This is not an area where we apply judgement about context.

Controls You Have

These work immediately and do not require an explanation from you.

• End any conversation instantly.
• Block a user so you are not matched with them again.
• Report behaviour that breaks the community guidelines.
• Control your camera and microphone at the device level as well as in the app.

What We Act On

Harassment, threats, sexual content involving anyone who has not consented to it, any content involving a minor, requests for money, impersonation, and attempts to move people off-platform for the purpose of scamming them.

Reports are reviewed and accounts are removed where the guidelines are broken. Detail helps: what happened, roughly when, and what was said.

What We Cannot Do

We cannot stop somebody pointing a second phone at their screen. We cannot verify that everyone is who they say they are. And we cannot protect you from information you choose to give out.

Saying so is more useful than claiming a level of protection no live video service can actually deliver.

If Something Goes Wrong

Leave first, report second. If somebody threatens you or demands money, do not pay and do not reply — keep the evidence, report the account, and contact your local police. Extortion of this kind is a recognised offence and paying has never once ended it.
