Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site to other services may be commercial. This page explains when, how they are marked, and what it changes about what we write.
What This Means
Where a link to a third-party service is commercial, we may receive compensation if you follow it and sign up. It does not cost you anything, and it does not change the price you would pay.
Our own product is our main source of revenue. Outbound commercial links are secondary and are treated as such.
How Commercial Links Are Marked
Any link identified as affiliate or sponsored carries a `rel="sponsored"` attribute in the page markup, and is labelled where it appears in the text. Non-commercial links to competitors are ordinary links and are not marked, because marking them would be misleading in the other direction.
What It Does Not Change
It does not change which services we cover, what the comparison tables say, or which product we recommend for a given reader. Verified data is verified data regardless of whether a link earns anything.
If a commercial relationship ever conflicted with an honest assessment, the assessment wins and the link goes.
